Sunseeker

Eindhoven, The Netherlands, is the primary place in Europe where the professional fields of design and technology merge. VANTOT created a concept and design for a sustainable and interactive (street) light-installation called Sunseeker, designed for the brand new Victoriapark in Eindhoven

Pendulum

During the day, Pendulum creates a playful pathway of alternating shadows on the street. The flat and horizontal design of the light fixtures increases the surface area of the solar panels as much as possible, optimizing solar energy harvesting. At night, PENDULUM becomes an avenue of interactive street lights.

Thank you for the sun

The petrol station, an icon of a fossil era in a post-fossil society. What kind of new function could the archetypical petrol station get in the future? During Dutch Design Week (DDW) 2018, designers Esther Jongsma & Sam van Gurp (VANTOT), Sander Wassink and Job van den Berg challenged and answered this question by means of their installation Thank You for the Sun, which was on show at the Markt in the city centre of Eindhoven from 20-28 of October.
